Justin Herbert, Quentin Johnston Gets Reps For The First Time

At the Hoag Performance Center in Costa Mesa, California, the Chargers’ second phase of the offseason program resumed on Monday.

The majority of the team’s veterans entered the field after the rookie minicamp, and quarterback Justin Herbert and his newest weapon, wide receiver Quentin Johnston, connected for the first time.

Johnston stated that Herbert had followed him on Instagram but hadn’t been in touch with him since being picked at his last Friday’s media availability.

It’s encouraging to see Herbert and Johnston establishing rapport so quickly.

There is still a lot of optimism about the speed and yards-after-the-catch potential the former TCU product is bringing to the offense, however, he will utilize this summer to improve his route running and fix issues that he battled with in college.
